Aikido, the modern martial art!

Aikido is an effective, nonviolent system of self-defense. In fact, many police agencies throughout the world include aikido techniques in their arrest tactics training. Yet the founder of aikido, Moreihei Ueshiba Sensei, talked of his creation as the art of peace and reconciliation. He often commented that the primary goal of aikido was to make better human beings.

Adult kyu rank pics_ December 18, 2007.

You may be wondering_ where did that new gallery with the great slide-show go? After getting it set up and lovin' it... Phanfare upgraded their program and took away nearly all of the features that I was very excited about. They also added a member log-in that did not accommodate a public gallery. I am once again looking for a gallery that has a 'cool' slide-show feature. In the mean time I will be posting photos on our existing gallery.

Here are pics of Scooter Taber and Stephanie Zee moving very successfully through their first adult kyu exams. Congratulations to both of you on your advancements to rokyu (adult 6th kyu).
