Aikido, the modern martial art! Aikido is an effective, nonviolent system of self-defense. In fact, many police agencies throughout the world include aikido techniques in their arrest tactics training. Yet the founder of aikido, Moreihei Ueshiba Sensei, talked of his creation as the art of peace and reconciliation. He often commented that the primary goal of aikido was to make better human beings. | Our photo gallery has developed a BIG problem! |

It's been my intention to have a complete 2006 photo gallery in place by the end of the year. This is no small task since I have gotten sooooooo far behind in posting 2006 event albums. Once again the fates have conspired against my progress. Last week our website was moved to a newer, faster, safer server and for some reason the gallery program we have been using glitched. Jonathan Lewis, our web guru, was unsuccessful in getting the gallery 'fixed'. So it's new gallery time which means there's a bunch of work ahead. We have kept the old gallery in place for now. The 'Fremont 50 Year Celebration' gallery suffered the most damage. The thumbnails got wiped out! However most pics are still available. Oh well... stuff happens :-) Keep the faith!
