Mitsugi Saotome Shihan holds special trainings by invitation only at the Shrine Dojo in Florida. This gallery has photos from Skys Sensei's first 'instructors only weekend training' in 2001. Saotome Sensei designed and built the dojo with his own hands and the help of dedicated students. Sensei and his wife, Patty (the secretarial backbone of ASU and a highly respected aikido instructor), live on the grounds in an amazing two story log house. The Shrine Dojo and their home is rich with Saotome Shihan's artistic creations. The training was amazing, and Sensei and Patty were incredible hosts!
